Ideally located in the heart of one of Ireland’s favourite seaside towns and offering wonderful views of the Castle and the magnificent Atlantic Ocean, McMunn’s is the perfect base for exploring the gems of North Kerry.
The 14th century town of Ballybunion is famously known worldwide for its challenging golf courses, The Old Course and The Casben Course at Ballybunion Golf Club. We are happy to arrange tee times for our guests with advance notice.
The area is also one of great natural beauty and home to a wide range of flora, fauna and a multitude of sea birds. A stroll along the seafront exposes a host of marine life including sea otters, seals, porpoises, and dolphins.
The waters surrounding the picturesque area have won the European Blue Flag Award for several consecutive years and are ideal for the harvesting of sea vegetables such as dillisk, sea grass and carrageen moss, whose healthy benefits can be experienced at the Seaweed baths nearby.
