  Had booked a table for two adults and two children for 4.45.After a day on the beach we were looking forward to it.We had a lovely waitress who showed us... read more to our seats.We placed our orders.The children ordered 2 dinners of the kids menu.The hubby ordered chowder and onion rings and I ordered chowder and skinny chips.Im not a huge fan of a big fish dinners and I dont eat burgers so little left off the main to get so I ordered the above.Drinks order was taken.Next thing a women lands over and barks that we can't have what we ordered that we need to order a dinner.Over 22 euro for a dinner each that neither of us would eat and I told her that.We were there for something small and it came to over 10 euro each.Our bill at the end came to 50.00 euro.We were made to feel very little in front of other people.Told eventually that we can have what we ordered first and would not be served any more drink.We were not there on a drinking session with our two kids we were having one pint each.Never met anyone so rude to us as this manager on the day.Would not recommend.

  I went to McMunns after months of lockdown and had the most terrific evening. We had such a great and safe evening. Roll on the summer where we can have many more great evenings. Well done everyone in McMunns. You must go and support businesses who are doing everything right and providing such a great product.

  We arrived on time, waited 30mins to get a drink. Ordered 3 lamb and 3 fish

The food arrived an hour later. The Lamb was edible- just - the fish portions were small with unpleasant sauce.
We asked for veg with the fish and were advised the veg with the lamb was meant to be shared. Potatoes were OK but the veg was not and had a vinegary tang.
The pannacotta was not good, the tart was OK .
When I am paying for a meal I like to have a say in how the meat is cooked,
The menu was limited, some items not available.
The bill came to more than €300 and the food not good, the service was not good. We finally got our coffee around 8.30pm and left after 2.5 hours
We have eaten here before, and it was fine, that was three years ago
To sum up, pretentious, expensive dissapointing
