  Lovely cosy place, nice ambience, good service and great food. What more could you ask for except maybe a really good bottle of wine to complement an excellent steak.

The adults had mussels and steak which was divine. Followed by coffee and cheese cake which was just heavenly. We felt very safe considering Covid 19 restrictions; all staff wore face shields. The tables were well spread out and there was a lightning system if you needed the bathrooms. We are really looking forward to going back.

The menu is more pricey but every ingredient is so... read more fresh and food is obviously made to order. If you are looking for kids menu of sausages and burgers it is not the place for you. Our kids had steak, pasta and chicken. We had beautiful prawns and mussels. Desserts were to die for. Great menu of cocktails and wine. We treated ourselves and it was delicious! We would definitely be back!

We both went for the chowder, it was average, then I went for the mussels which were lovely and himself had the steak and he said it was nice, nothing special, however the chips and the pepper sauce were fab. we were so fortunate to get a window table so we could watch the sunset which was fab, the service was great all evening and I nearly forgot about the best bit the rhubarb and apple crumble, delicious.

The flavours in every dish were truly amazing.

Bad value. My son ordered the sharing fish goujons. Omg. The batter surrounding the fish barely saw the fryer. It was soggy and pale and the chips were yuck. Easy dish, how can you get this wrong. My other son ordered the chowder. Just ok. All in all. This experience left us feeling disappointed. We ordered 2 flat whites to go. Also below par. Come on, ye have a beautiful setting, lovely pleasant waitresses. Ye can do better.
