  In for food this evening, got a bill that was about €40 more than we anticipated. Supplements added on the bill that were not displayed anywhere on the menu.

Meal was nice but be transparent about your pricing, its a pretty nasty surprise to get at the end and leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

  Had booked a table for two adults and two children for 4.45.After a day on the beach we were looking forward to it.We had a lovely waitress who showed us... read more to our seats.We placed our orders.The children ordered 2 dinners of the kids menu.The hubby ordered chowder and onion rings and I ordered chowder and skinny chips.Im not a huge fan of a big fish dinners and I dont eat burgers so little left off the main to get so I ordered the above.Drinks order was taken.Next thing a women lands over and barks that we can't have what we ordered that we need to order a dinner.Over 22 euro for a dinner each that neither of us would eat and I told her that.We were there for something small and it came to over 10 euro each.Our bill at the end came to 50.00 euro.We were made to feel very little in front of other people.Told eventually that we can have what we ordered first and would not be served any more drink.We were not there on a drinking session with our two kids we were having one pint each.Never met anyone so rude to us as this manager on the day.Would not recommend.

  My partner and I decided to grab some food after an evening walk on the beach, we left wishing we decided to take our business elsewhere. When we walked past... read more the window the restaurant appeared quiet, so we ventured in. We were met at the door by a young waitress who was friendly and polite, as we didn't have a booking she went to check with the manager to see if we could be seated. Once we met the manager the whole experience went downhill, to echo other reviews on this platform she is very ignorant, it baffles me how she has a job in customer service. We were scoffed at before being offered a table as they were "very busy" when we arrived there was 3 tables seated, with only 2 more arriving before we departed. The young waitress who greeted us at the door took our order. I ordered the fish and chips and my partner had the chicken. While waiting for our food a group of golfers came in and were seated near us. The manager who greeted us with disdain swooned over this group, it was at this point we felt as we were younger (mid twenties) the manager didn't want us in the restaurant. When our food arrived, my fish and chips was fine, edible but in no way worth the price on the menu. My partners chicken was cold, as if it had been sitting around. When raising this point with a member of staff, there was a dismissive attitude of my partners concerns, but it was taken back, only to come back out cold again. The manager came over after the food came out a second time, but became irate when we mentioned the same issue had occurred again. The manager was too busy "entertaining" the golfing group that had walked in, clearly she thought they would spend more money or we were not worthy of her attention, either way it left us unsatisfied with the whole experience . I finished my food, however my partner left her's uneaten, no apology from the manager, no offer to prepare something else and then we found on the bill we were charged full price for something which was not up to standard. All in all a terrible experience. A restaurant that couldn't be recommended to anyone.
